Santa Santa Ponsa is part of the municipality Calvià and is about 20 kilometres away from the island’s capital city Palma in the Southwest of Mallorca.
Santa Ponsa, and in particular the newly developed residential area of Nova Santa Ponsa, is not only a perfect holiday destination but also a permanent residence for lovers of a superior lifestyle. The district Nova Santa Ponsa is the exclusive part of Santa Ponsa. There is no mass tourism. On the contrary, you will find exclusive residential areas including Majorcan fincas, impressing villas, modern apartments and penthouses. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet.
Santa Ponsa has a large fine sandy beach, offers all kinds of shops for everyday needs and numerous fine restaurants and bars. There are sufficient shops, restaurants and bars available also during off-season. Yacht vacationers and lovers of the sea will feel comfortable in El Toro and at the exclusive harbour Port Adriano, with its fantastic restaurants and great atmosphere.
Nova Santa Ponsa is also the ideal starting point for golf lovers. There are 4 golf courses in the immediate surroundings.
The International School BIC (Baleares International College) is located only a few kilometres away from Nova Santa Ponsa. Here students from various countries are taught in English which is the language of instruction (classes 1 – 13).

The cosy promenade is a great place to hang out with cosy restaurants, bars and shops. Walkers enjoy the impressive surroundings, while boat trips allow you to admire the coast and villages such as Cala d’Or and Cala Bona from the water. Nearby, you can enjoy plenty of cycling and sporting excursions. Can Picafort itself is also buzzing at night. There is something for every age: karaoke, darts, drinking cocktails and dancing to Spanish music. A must visit is Park natural de S’Albufera. The largest and most important wetland area in the Balearic Islands. With a surface area of 2.036,23 hectares, mainly of wet grassland and marsh, the Park lies within the municipalities of Muro and Sa Pobla.
